About Me

The name Gatuni Art comes from the word "gatuni", a loving nickname that we use for our family "gatos" (cats).

Hi! My name is Sara, nice to meet you! I was born in Mexico, although I lived in several countries growing up and I am now based in Chester, a lovely small city in the North West of the UK.

I have always been involved in art in one way or another. Growing up, I loved to paint at home and in my art classes, and doodling on my small sketchbook helped me focus during my classes in school. I took the decision early on that I would never pursue art full-time lest I lose my passion and interest in it. However, I'm trying to pursue art a bit more seriously now, even if it is part-time. I've been selling things on Redbubble for a few years now and I recently opened my own Etsy shop to sell my physical art!
